The methods for subscribing to and unsubscribing from 4-H Speciality Listservs have changed.
Details are below.
Subscribing
- Dairy
- In order to subscribe to the list, send an e-mail to listserv@listserv.vt.edu with
subscribe vce-4hdairy
in the body of the e-mail. (It doesn't matter what the subject is.)
You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the listserv system.
You must select the link in that e-mail (or copy and paste it into a browser).
After that is done successfully, you will receive a confirmation that you are subscribed.
- Horse
- In order to subscribe to the list, send an e-mail to listserv@listserv.vt.edu with
subscribe vce-4hhorse
in the body of the e-mail. (It doesn't matter what the subject is.)
You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the listserv system.
You must select the link in that e-mail (or copy and paste it into a browser).
After that is done successfully, you will receive a confirmation that you are subscribed.
- Livestock
- In order to subscribe to the list, send an e-mail to listserv@listserv.vt.edu with
subscribe vce-4hlivestock
in the body of the e-mail. (It doesn't matter what the subject is.)
You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the listserv system.
You must select the link in that e-mail (or copy and paste it into a browser).
After that is done successfully, you will receive a confirmation that you are subscribed.
Unsubscribing
In order to unsubscribe from a list, send an e-mail to listserv@listserv.vt.edu with unsubscribe [list name] in the body of the e-mail. So, for example:
- For the Dairy list, the body of the e-mail should say "unsubscribe vce-4hdairy".
- For the Horse list, the body of the e-mail should say "unsubscribe vce-4hhorse".
- For the Livestock list, the body of the e-mail should say "unsubscribe vce-4hlivestock".
Regardless of the list, the email should be sent to listserv@listserv.vt.edu, and the subject can be empty.
