CALS and VCE listservs are automatically updated on a regular basis (usually on Monday mornings).
If you are a new employee, please allow 3 weeks for your subscriptions to be updated. If you are still having problems after that time, please follow the instructions at the bottom of the page.

Please note: several lists were deleted on October 21, 2011. The CALS and VCE lists are currently undergoing a significant revision. Please see more details below.

Before sending any messages, be sure that you have found the most appropriate listserv for your message. Information about all the different VCE listservs follows:
CALS and VCE Listservs are based on information from the personnel system at Virginia Tech and the VCE extended staff database which includes Cooperative Extension employees at Virginia State University and county employees working in local Extension offices. The names on the listservs are automatically generated based on specific criteria, such as employee's title, program area, office location, etc. For the purpose of this documentation, "Campus Faculty and Staff" refers to faculty and staff associated with a department at Virginia Tech, ARECS or Virginia State University.

Everyone in the district should be on that district's list. Many different listservs are available by district. A list of the district listservs are shown below (using Central District as an example.)
